The exclusive Daintree Sensations bus tour takes you to explore the hidden treasures of this beautiful, bountiful region. You’ll visit private properties, meet local growers and farmers, and sample their award-winning produce. This indulgent tasting tour includes the Australian Chocolate Farm, where you’ll learn the process of transforming bean to bar, to decadent sweet treat. The next stop is at Scomazzons Fruit Farm and Store, where you’ll see hand harvesting, before sampling some seasonal, exotic tropical fruits. The main event and meal are at the Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm. Here you’ll reel into a scrumptious and sustainable supply of Australia’s iconic saltwater barramundi. We take you on an exclusive farm tour and then you’ll feast on a gourmet tasting platter.
From here we take you off the beaten path, to visit the stunning Cassowary Falls. A pristine waterfall surrounded by rainforest on a private property, in the Daintree Valley. Refresh and revive with a swim (so bring your towels) and delight your palate with our signature Tastes of the Daintree artisan grazing board.
The Daintree Sensations day tour rates as of 1 April 2024 is $250 per Adult. It’s an 8 hour tour with pick-ups from 9am in Port Douglas, drop-offs from 5pm.
The tour operates 4 days a week, Wednesday through Saturday. Please note this tour is not suitable for children, hence there is only an Adult price.
The Daintree Sensations day tour operates 4 days a week, Wednesday through Saturday. It departs from any Port Douglas location. Please advise your hotel or accommodation location at the time of booking. Tour pick-ups commence in Port Douglas at 9am and you will return to Port Douglas around 5pm.
The Daintree Sensations tour is a full day – 8 hour – tour, to and from Port Douglas. Pick-ups commence from 9am with drop-offs from 5pm. The tour operates 4 days a week, Wednesday through Saturday.
Please note this tour is not suitable for children, hence there is only an Adult price.
Tour participants are encouraged to wear comfortable and sun safe clothes, including hats and walking shoes. There is the option to go swimming at Cassowary Falls (highly recommended) so please bring swimmers and a towel. You should bring a water bottle, sunscreen and cash / card to make any additional purchases during the day, such as tea or coffee at the Australian Chocolate Farm, any additional drinks at the Daintree Saltwater Barramundi Farm, plus any additional produce from the Scomazzons Farm Store.

If you are doing the Daintree Sensations tour with us, then no, you cannot self-drive it. Transport is provided on our air-conditioned mini coach. Friendly local guides and drivers will pick you up from your accommodation and take you on our delicious Daintree tasting tour. They provide commentary throughout the day and have made all the arrangements for you.
As you will note – we are transparent in telling you where we go on this tour – so if you had your own vehicle, then you could self-drive the experience yourself. However, please note that if you self-drive you will need to make your own independent tour bookings at each of the destinations and you would also miss the guided commentary, which is full of local information.
The Daintree Sensations tour is an adult only tour. It is not suitable for children.
